A flow of gypsum leading down to large deposit has been mined. The pit is 9 x 5.6 x 2.3 m. There are two stone kilns, one 2 m diameter, the other 2.4 m (the second is irregular, partly built round a large rock). Traces of burning and ash lie above the first kiln. There are large quantities of hawthorn in the valley below, which may have been used as fuel. Further west, towards Kato Moni but outside the SCSP survey area, are a further 21 gypsum kilns.
